Orders

How much time does it take to fulfill order?

We stock all the products  in our own warehouse, Indonesia. Upon oder confirmation we take 8 to 12 weeks to deliver your container load orders.

Who can purchase from California Exotic Furniture?

We love that consumers contact us to purchase. Register here, our team will approve your account within 12 hours so you can benefit from trade benefits directly online.

How do I place an order?

You can place your order through this website once your account is set up. You can also email purchase orders to info@California Exotic Furnitureb2b.com.

Do you have a minimum order amount?

Yes, the minimum order is 40ft HC containers. You can mix and match the furniture pieces to fill up one full container.

Does the furniture come assembled or will I need to put it together?

Most of the furniture is knock-down but some are fully assembled, please check with Customer Service while ordering. The knock-down furniture could be assembled by our team or by the customer himself by following the Instructions manual provided inside the box.

Changing or Canceling an Order?

Once we receive your order we get to work on it right away. This means that changes or cancellations are not always possible. You should also know that once an order is placed, it cannot be changed online. With all of this in mind, we still do understand that sometimes mistakes can happen, so you may contact Customer Service to make a request for a change or cancellation. Change applies only until 3 days from the time placing an order. We will make our best efforts to apply the requested change.

Delivery & Returns

Is your furniture ready to ship via any courier service like UPS, TNT or Fdx?

Yes, most of our products are ready to ship except some bulky items whereby you require private delivery services. This information is mentioned in our product catalog by each product.

When will my order arrive?

Custom and container orders have a production time of 8-10 weeks and a transit time to the US of an additional 8-10 weeks. Custom orders will have additional US transit times of up to two weeks.

How much does freight cost?

The price of ocean freight can vary significantly, based upon the season and other factors. Please contact us for a more accurate freight quote. The price of freight is included in the cost of your custom item, we can give you an accurate quote at the time of purchase for the delivery.

What type of packaging will my items be shipped in?

When it comes to packaging furniture, experience counts. We deliver packaging solutions that offer the ultimate protection for large, bulky or heavy products.

We also recognise the importance of the environment and our complete paper-based solutions packaging solutions are 100% recyclable by the end-user.

  • All items are packed in cartons with Craft 200.
  • Edge protectors on ALL edges along with styrofoam. Teakwood frame to be placed at the base of the carton. If packed 2 pcs per box teakwood to be placed at both the top and base of the carton.
  • All legs and arms are wrapped with a minimum of 6mm foam sheets followed by shrink wrapping.
  • All case goods are packed with corrugated or styrofoam corner blocks to avoid damage during transport.
  • Edges, corners and tops are protected against carton rubs by a foam wrap.
  • All loose components and hardware packs are secured in place as not to move during transit.

What is your return policy?

We build items specifically for you rather than pulling from stock. Thus, we are not able to accept cancellations once your piece has gone into production.Should an item have a defect you should contact us, and we will review your claim. For more information, please review our Terms & Conditions.

Payment

Do I need to pay a deposit?

We require a deposit for buyers. The deposit will be 50% of the total amount of your order. We do not begin production until the deposit has been paid. Confirmed orders cannot be canceled, changed, returned, or refunded at any time.

What forms of payment do you accept?

For container purchases, we will invoice the remaining balance for the product once the container has shipped. It must be paid in full prior to its release from the port. We accept payment by wire transfer.

Ocean freight is billed directly by the freight company, typically this will be Universal Cargo. Payment for freight must be prepaid by check, wire transfer or with a credit card with a 4% fee.

Finishing & Wood Types

What types of woods do you use?

We solely use solid teakwood. Our teak wood is certified by the Indonesian Legal Teak Wood harvested from sustainable forests, where the environment and local jobs are protected. Choosing natural teak wood for your outdoor furniture is a great choice for the environment.

What is the difference between a standard finish and a premium finish?

All our finishes and stains are applied by hand. Premium finishes are additionally labor intensive and require extra time to achieve the intricate details and textures. All items with a premium finish will be charged an extra 10% based on the cost of the item.

What is weathered resistant outdoor finish?

We specifically choose an environmentally-friendly solution that will give an amazing & premium finish. A water-based solution that turns new premium golden brown teak into weathered/old teak, achieving the look of wood exposed to the elements over time. Imperfections such as hairline cracks may be present. If left uncovered, the weathered gray finish will fade away after a season of use. Once the weathered finish fades, exposing unfinished teak to the elements, the furniture will begin to acquire the beautiful silvery-gray patina that is typical of untreated teak.

To keep clean and mold-free, and prolong its soft, weathered finish, protect your furniture with our custom-fit covers when not in use. It is recommended for high end residential and Hotel Projects where they do not want to maintain the outdoor finish every year. This is simply maintenance free.

Warranty

General Warranty Information

Our exclusive warranty reaffirms that commitment to our valued clients. Please take the time to read.

All of our furniture is warranted for 1 year against manufacturing defects. The warranty applies to:

  • The original owner/purchaser of the Product only
  • Structural and Operational Parts
  • Normal use of Product
  • The furniture is free from defects in workmanship, materials and construction for one year from the date of Shipment. In the event that a defect is found, we will either repair or replace the defective item, at its discretion.

Warranty does not cover damages to any product due to abuse, misuse, or any freight mishandling. In order to determine the most effective resolution to any warranty claim we will require pictures that demonstrate manufacturing defects.

Warranty Does Not Apply to :

  • Damage caused by a carrier
  • Normal wear and tear, user abuse or acts or omissions of parties (including user modification)
  • C.O.M. (Customer’s Own Material) specified by the customer
  • Dramatic temperature variations or exposure to unusual conditions
  • Changes in surface finishes, including color fastness due to aging or exposure to UV
  • Small cracks and Color Deterioration in Wood with time
